Georgia Woman

For a second time this year, a woman's execution has been postponed due to unusual reasons. The 47- year old was scheduled to be executed on Wednesday, February 25th, but the execution was postponed to March 2nd due to weather conditions. She was scheduled to die at 7 p.m. on Monday, but prior to the execution the drugs were sent to be tested but fell within the testing limits causing her execution to be postponed again. A petition was started saying that the woman has turned her life around and she should be set free. As of Tuesday morning the petition had 80,000 signatures and the organizers made a plan to deliver it the Governor of Georgia. She was convicted of taking part in her husband's murder in 1997 and has been in jail ever since.
